Our
Biblical foundation today comes from Romans 8:37 in the Amplified
Bible (AMP) “Yet amid all these things we
are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved
us.”

In July 2007 my “comfortably life” mother, working my government managerial
job decided to get unprecedenedly uncomfortable
GOD
LIFE LESSON: When were comfortable, God is optional
After 7 months of complaining
of severe neck and shoulder pain, my 2nd son, 10 year old Khaleel
was diagnosis with a malignant Rhabdoid tumor on his spine
The prognosis was grim and he
was given 10 months to live in with the most aggressive chemo and radiation
therapy in place
Even with this prognosis, I
wasn’t fazed “I severed a BIG GOD” and this was the perfect platform for Him to
demonstrate His greatness for my benefit

LIFE LESSON: God prepares us before He places us
PREPARED
Prior to Khaleel’s diagnosis I
started taking my Word more seriously
I spent more time in the Bible
and started flushing out the Word and attaching it to practical life application
Listen to the whisper
The scripture “Write My World
on the tablets of your heart” kept resonating with me
Be mindful of the habit,
routine, situation, boring task or obligation God is using in your life to
prepare you? Discipline you, position you
WHO ARE YOU? ANSWER “MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!”
GOD USED MY DIGESTING OF HIS
WORD TO SPEAK TO ME DURING THE STORM
As I stood in the hallway of
Sick Kid’s hospital looking out of the window watching the birds dancing with
each other right after Khaleel was diagnosed, God said in my spirit
"LOOK AT THOSE BIRDS IN THE SKY,
I TAKE CARE OF THEM, WILL I NOT SURELY TAKE CARE OF YOU? TRUST ME…"

LIFE LESSON: THE MORE TIME WE SPEND IN HIS WORD, THE LOUDER
HIS VOICE BECOMES
His Word is a sword that will
fight on your behalf
It will fight for you in your
mind, in your thoughts, doubts, negative self speak, and perceptions
It resets us to truth vs
life's lies (what are the lies we tell ourselves)
Scriptures had a voice
GOD
LIFE LESSON: We can’t fight if we’re not dressed for war
The only way to put on the
full armour of God is by getting in the dressing room “HIS WORD”
God’s Word prepares us for
every situation and circumstance under the sun
We’re busy YES
But it’s imperative we find a
way to consume it like your daily bread

MP3, CDs, Partner, Group, different Biblical versions
God’s Word will continuously
reset your mind and limitlessly save your life!

After Khaleel’s diagnosis we
went into “WARRIOR MODE”
We went into warrior mode
International prayer, fasting,
declaring the scriptures, unprecedented time in God’s presence, we tore our
robes and put ashes on our heads (fugitively) because God was going to show up
and show out
PITY PARTY
One night I left my marital
bed and went downstairs to the living and cried
I reflected on every negative
thing that had ever happened to me and cried
From the dropped lollipop at
2, the stolen boyfriend at 13, the spilled jug a milk (you get the picture)
I had a proper pity party
I cried until my eyes were
red, sore and puffy
Each blink felt like sand
paper
And God said “Are you done?”
GOD
SAID: YOU ARE CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
WHO ARE YOU? ANSWER “MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!”
In that moment I wanted to
proudly wear the crown of every pain, every defeat, every hurt, every heart
break, every disappointment, every stubbed toe BUT GOD SAID “NO”
GOD SAID “YOU ARE MORE THAN A
CONQUEROR!”
I SAID: I don’t “feel” like a
conqueror God
GOD SAID "You are not what you
see,
you are not what you feel,
YOU
ARE WHAT I CALL YOU
I call you MORE THAN A
CONQUEROR"
WHO ARE YOU? ANSWER “MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!”

LIFE LESSON: TRIALS SHARPEN OUR SPIRITUAL EARS
Be careful who you listen to,
the lies of the adversary or God’s unwavering TRUTH
TRANSITION TIME
As a mother I watched my baby
boy, my womb, my precious gem in 23 months pass from the land of the living
HOLY ANGER
The morning after Khaleel passed, I stood at the kitchen counter washing dishes. The adversary, yes the devil came and leaned up beside me. No he wasn't red nor did he have a tail or pitch fork.
He said "so your son is dead. All that prayer, fasting, prayer meetings, declaring God's Word and still your son is dead" he had a smirk on his face.
I looked at him. Eye to eye and said with HOLY ANGER "You've made a big mistake! Now that my son has passed, every breath for the rest of my life will be used to praise the Lord! My life will be a living sacrifice for God. My very last breath will honor Him!"

Challenges, situations ,tragedy
reveal who we really are
It test our spiritual and
carnal muscles
Like Job, God test who He can
trust!
If you are going through it’s
because God knows you are well able!

Our posture during the
situation is our living sacrifice
God wants to smell the sweet
incense of our praise!
Our obedience to His voice
especially in challenging times, is the tangible application of our love for
Him
GOD LIFE LESSON: God wants our
attention today!
It’s not going to be easy but
HAVE THE ORDACITY TO PRAISE
HIM!
KICK ADVERSITY IN THE TEETH &
DECLARE
THIS TOO SHALL PASS
When the adversary thinks you’re
dead, get up like LACARUS!
So anxious to be on assignment
he didn’t even take off his death clothes, he just started moving! GLORY

Your situation is your labour

What is God birthing in you?
Your situation puts you on the
delivery table
What are you pregnant with?
Your situation upgrades your
citizenship
My situation birthed:
- A fitness instructor from someone who hated to exercise
- A international daily Prayer Ministry from someone the adversary told “You don’t even know how to pray”
- An author with a library of books ready to be birthed, one of which I have available today “More Than A Conqueror”

Your situation takes you from
obscurity to shining with God’s glory

In
my book I write: “We have to know who we are, what we are able
to do, and what we are entitled to have. Without true knowledge and confidence
in our identity, we will go through life as princes living like paupers. Unless
we are confident in who we are, we will never be able to do what we were
created to do. As a result, we will assume a false identity that will scare us
off from destiny, causing us to be buried with our treasures still within us. I
charge you today, die empty!”
How is God using your
situation to develop you, release what He invested in you? Show you your true

My situation was the parental
unfathomable
My baby boy got sick, suffered
and passed away
During that journey God used
his twelve year old life to teach twelve prophetic lessons
My situation was death in that
moment but my IDENTITY IS MORE THAN A CONQUEROR
GOD LIFE LESSON: We are who
God says we are not what life temporarily displays us
What has God been asking you

coming back to your remembrance?

Make a commitment to receive,
unpack and walk out your God-assignment
God has an amazing way of
using our misery as our ministry, our trial as our testimony, not for our
benefit but for His Kingdom
